Papercraft Holiday Postcard

This catalog piece was designed with younger donors in mind. The average donor for The Salvation Army trends older and their typical letter appeals don’t have the same reliability as other audiences. These postcards had a lower print cost so were suitable for testing with acquisition mailings. The craft was intended to have sharing power and encourage the recipient to keep it around as a reminder to donate online.

Bed and Bread Chicago

In the Chicago area, Bed and Bread Club is a monthly donation group which helps with local need throughout the year. Most people forget about donating to The Salvation Army outside of the Christmas season when there are bell ringers at every store. These bold messages called for viewers to Join the Fight and explain the ways they can help. This project included monthly landing pages with stories about individuals helped by the Salvation Army to update donors on their impact. It was also extended to local bus signage for acquisition and brand awareness.
